Airtight tapes are easily available, easy to tote around, and relatively expensive. Besides being used for certain applications, waterproof tapes are capable to work on multiple applications. Let's look at some of the practical uses of tapes:

1) Repair Tent: Carry a roll of tape whenever you plan to visit a campsite. One never know when there is a little tear in the tent, and airtight tape can cover the hole, and give you a relief from the fear of making a way for insect inside of your tent.

2) Create Rope: Entangle one or multiple lengths of the tape and try to twist into a rope or cord. Para cord isn't bad?

3) Reseal Cans And Packages OFood: Have opened packages at home or factory? Wrap them using airtight tape by folding it over the top of the package, and seal it. Works incredibly for cans, too!

4) Catch Pesky Flies: Roll a couple of foot-length strips of airtight tape, and hang them on from your tent or a branch. It attracts flies because of the color.

5) Make Shelter: By using a couple of trash bags and some tape, you can create a survival shelter roof, wind break, sleeping bag cover, etc.

6) Take Care OBlisters: Tape up the blistered area with a bit of cotton gauze, but ensure that the tape doesn't touch the blister.

7) Make A Splint: Broken leg or ankle can be cured(temporarily) with the help of padding, airtight tape, and some splint material.

8) Fasten UYour Rain Gear: By mending your tore rain gear with a couple of strips of airtight tape, you can keep the stuff dry during rains.

9) Mark Trail: If you have a colored or reflective tape, you can use it to signal for rescue in bad times.

10) Mesmerism: Using leaves and some bags, vogue a disguise, and keep it together with airtight tape so you can hide, for fun.
